SEAwise Coordinator Professor Anna Rindorf to Head DTU Aqua Department

SEAwise Coordinator, Professor Anna Rindorf has been appointed as the new Head of Department for DTU Aqua. 

Anna, who joined DTU as a researcher in 2007 and has since been appointed Professor and Head of Section for Ecosystem based Marine Management, will take up her new position from 1 July. 

An expert in her field, Anna’s research encompasses species interactions, spatial distribution, and the growth of fish species in the North Sea. 

With a passion for unravelling the challenges of ecosystem management, alongside her role as Project Coordinator of SEAwise, she has extensive experience in participating and leading advisory groups, including several ICES working groups. 

As well as her new role as Head of Department for DTU Aqua, Anna will continue as SEAwise Coordinator, steering the project through its final months to completion this autumn.
